This new construction home was designed around a cohesive palette of layered blues, creating a calm yet expressive atmosphere throughout. Custom millwork elements including wainscoting, shiplap, and picture frame molding add depth and structure while reinforcing the home’s consistent design language.
Weyer’s scope included full drywall installation, orange peel texture, custom paint, and detailed enamel finishes. A standout feature of this project was the installation of wallpaper and vinyl wall coverings, including applications on ceilings. Ceiling wallpaper requires specialized preparation and technique due to gravity, making it one of the more demanding finish applications. When executed correctly, it adds a striking and unexpected layer of design.
